Public Notice for Temporary Water Right Permit Application of the Aliso Water District: Aliso Water District filed a temporary water right permit application on August 26, 2022 to appropriate surface water flows for underground storage. Pursuant to Water Code section 1428, subdivision (d), any interested person may file an objection to the temporary diversion and use of water, with copy to the Aliso Water District. Objections are due by 4:30 p.m. October 7, 2022 and may be emailed to Shelby Witherby at Shelby.Witherby@waterboards.ca.gov.

Aliso WD Supports Madera County Resource Conservation Districts/Natural Resource Priorities: The Aliso Water District participated in the Local Work Group on August 26, 2020 hosted by the Madera/Chowchilla, Coarsegold and Columbia Resource Conservations Districts. The work group focused on challenges facing Madera County, and highlighted natural resource priorities. Public Hearing Regarding Proposed Groundwater Extraction Fees Held on June 16, 2020: The Aliso Water District Board of Directors held a public hearing on a proposed groundwater extraction fee on June 16, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at the District office or via video conference. The proposed fee is intended to fund various projects to achieve groundwater sustainability.
Delta-Mendota SGMA Workshop Series: A series of workshops were held throughout the Delta-Mendota Subbasin the week of May 20, 2019. Attendees were able to provide input on the plans, participating in the future of water resources. Download the flyer for more information.
